The company `MK SKSM` is finishing supply of process metalwork for Kaluzhskii metallurgical plant
The company `MK SKSM` is finishing supply of process metalwork of cooling of furnace gas of arc steel-making furnace for CJSC `Kaluzhskii scientific production electrical and metallurgical plant` (Kaluzhskii region, Russia). The total volume of supply is 300 tonnes.
According to the CEO of `MK SKSM`, Sergei Korobko, carrying metalwork had already been assembled and now the process of launch of industrial facilities of Russian plant has started.
`Field supervision on manufacturing equipment and products, which had been installed on Kaluzhskii metallurgical plant, was held by general designer of new enterprise – the company `Siemens VAI`. The project decision of gas treatment, offered by German specialists, required high accuracy in size and docking device of the constructions. The peculiarity of this order is that produced by the plant metalwork should `become alive` during its operation, i.e. it should be as tender as possible during the vibration. The similar project had only once been implemented in Russia.
Mr. Korobko pointed out that after the supply of metalwork Russians offered `MK SKSM` some additional production works. According to the new contract, the specialists of `MK SKSM` had to develop new technology of welding of alloy-treated steel with high content of graphite.
`Currently, this technology had already been developed and tested by the specialists of `MK SKSM`. In February 2012, the specialists of `Siemens VAI` will check the correspondence of the project to the demands of the client.` - informed the head of the company.
